The last Libra new moon came to help you to come into relationship with who you’re becoming. Then, to help you to find firm foundations in yourself and emerge into a new part of your journey was the Taurus full moon. Now, to help you to go within to face your fears and desires, is the Scorpio new moon.

This is a moon of truths, breakthroughs, revelations, awakenings and purging. It could feel karmic, fated, and, if you’re willing to go there, will bring metamorphosis and alchemy.

Scorpio is one of the most private and penetrating signs of the zodiac so do not be surprised if you are called to real alone time around this moon, something which I fully encourage, as you will not be able to hear the whispers of this moon if you are caught up in the outside noise.

This is a moon of deep inner work, not forcing anything on the outside to change, but rather making those changes and realisations in yourself and shifting your vibration so that you become a match for that which you desire.

Especially as the modern ruler of this moon, Pluto, squares Mercury, all that has been hidden in the depths, swept under the rug and shoved in the back of the metaphoric wardrobe will come to the surface.

All the deep-rooted fears that subconsciously drive your behaviours, the shadows that keep you small and afraid, and the ways in which you give away your power without even realising it. This may be to others, situations, your own negative thoughts, or just allowing yourself to be drawn into the drama of the news, or collective fears rippling through the ether.

Truth will come to light and all that needs purging from your life - all that is toxic and keeping you stuck in patterns. You’ll be able to see what behaviours, beliefs, habits, attachments and emotional burdens bind you and keep you from moving forwards or making lasting change.

This moon will also help you to face your desires, and those things you’ve pushed down as over the years you’ve lost faith in yourself, or been led to believe you couldn’t make it happen, or it wouldn’t work, or isn’t meant for you.

So, get clear on what you really want and what you are afraid of.

Go within, face what you’ve been avoiding, tend to yourself, let your desires take root and begin to germinate in the dark, which is where all new growth begins.
