The last Scorpio new moon came to help you to create new timelines and harness new energies and frequencies. Then, to help you to make choices about your future was the Gemini full moon. Now to help us to expand into a new traditional year and cosmic consciousness is the Sagittarius new moon.

Our final lunation of 2025 comes in strong to help us close out this traditional year and enter the next. It’s bringing hope, optimism and most of all power and presence so that we can move into the new year in an intentional way.

2025 has, for many, been a year of challenges and intensity and uncertainty and we’ve always known it would be. It was the year that many of the outer planets shifted signs and then went retrograde and moved back leaving us feeling this sense of being between worlds and perhaps as though you couldn’t get firm footing. You’re no longer who or where you were, you’re not quite who you’re becoming and where you want to go.

We’ve also had geomagnetic storms, X-class flares and spiking Schumann resonance like never before and in the recalibration of our energy bodies this has left our human nervous systems on high alert, not sure what’s coming next.

Plus, it’s been a year 9 and the year of the snake, shedding, closing, clearing out and realising what is not serving our highest good has been the name of the game, whether that’s our own beliefs and stories and wounds or things in our lives.

And all of this is what this Sagittarius new moon is here to help us with, especially with the winter solstice coming the following day, when we are asked to review the year gone by and let go of all that we don’t want to take with us so that we can create space for the new. 

With the Sagittarius energies you’ll feel an increasing sense of where you’ve been stuck and limiting yourself in lack of belief of what’s possible for you and perhaps where you haven’t followed your intuition or heart’s desires this year.

This new moon is asking you to recalibrate and set your inner compass towards more joy, optimism, adventure, expansion and intention in the year ahead.

This is a moon to dream and dream big, especially as this new moon sits on the Galactic Centre, the heart of the Milky Way. Not only do we have the energy of the centre of the galaxy working with us at this new moon we also have the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS closest to the Earth at the time of this new moon and winter solstice.

This moon is for dream weavers, cosmic explorers and consciousness awakeners. Use it to get clear on how you want to expand and grow in 2026 and what the baseline of your beliefs is going to be.

Be hopeful and optimistic about the future because I believe in us and our ability to create it. It is time. Let’s go.
